Modular process platform, screw pile foundations
142 heavy steel screw piles to 600 mm helix, supporting a modular process platform on remote ground. Zero spoil, zero curing, ready to receive modules same week.
A remote modular process platform needed a clean, fast foundation system that could be installed without spoil generation and would carry modules immediately on completion. Screw piling was the obvious answer.
We installed 142 heavy-duty steel screw piles with helix diameters up to 600 mm, between 6 and 12 metres deep, with installation torque verified against engineer-set acceptance criteria for each pile. Galvanised shafts were specified for the 50-year design life of the asset.
Torque-vs-depth records were captured per pile and packaged into a chartered-engineer certification pack, lodged into the operator’s asset register the day we finished. The platform module crew started landing modules onto piles the following Monday.
